One day I started thinking about when we first begin developing our own sense of style, and realized it happens younger than most people think, usually around elementary school. I went to a school that required uniforms, and my mom picked out everything I wore outside of school, so I never really got the chance to find my own style at that age.
That got me thinking: what's one thing that girls of every age can actually make their own? I landed on hair accessories. After doing some research, I found a real gap in the market. Nothing out there let you customize and switch up your hair accessories. So I spent the last two years building CharmyKidz, a hair accessory brand where you can swap charms across every single product. Instead of buying a new accessory every time you want a different look, you just switch the charms and make the same piece feel new again.
I've been obsessively building this all on my own: the designs, website, IP, everything. It's been scary and exciting, but one of the best things I've ever done. This is our first Founder's Edition (v1) that I designed and created myself. Every order helps fund the next stage: better quality, mass production, and everything beyond it.
